| Lessons: | Group lessons consist of 3 to 5 riders, and last for one hour. Semi-private lessons last for 45 minutes with 2 riders. Thirty minute Private lessons with one student may be requested, and will be scheduled as resources allow. |
| Holidays: | The Riding School will be closed on: Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. In order to offer our staff paid holidays, we will be unable to schedule make ups for those days. |
| Rescheduled lessons: | Lessons will be cancelled in extreme conditions (excessively hot or cold temperatures, rain, snow...). All lessons cancelled due to weather will be rescheduled. The JREC answering service, at 594-0760, will have an inclement weather message announcing when lessons have been cancelled. If the greeting has not been changed, lessons have NOT been cancelled. We do our best to schedule make up lessons in a timely manner. However, it may take several weeks to actually accomplish this. We appreciate your cooperation with the reschedule. |
| Missed lessons: | Aside from emergencies, JREC requires 24 hour notice of an upcoming absence to grant a make up lesson. Call us at 594-0760 for cancellations and to reschedule the lesson. It is important for the riding school to reschedule the missed lessons as opposed to offering credits towards the next month. Our expenses are fixed year round. We depend on this budgeted income to keep the riding school in operation (and our horses fed!). |
| Payment: | Lessons are billed based on a calendar month. One lesson a week is $150 per month. Two lessons a week (this may be shared between 2 family members) is $275 per month. Requested private lessons will be offered (when available) for $50. Payment is due on the first lesson of every month. If monthly payment is not received by the 2nd lesson of the month, a $25 late fee will be assessed. |
